Aim & Scope

ELEFTHO magazine is the official scientific obstetric magazine published by the Athens Association of Scientists-Midwives/Midwives Association of Athens (SEMMA), in collaboration with the other Courts of Appeal Associations. ELEFTHO magazine is a living heirloom, through which the reader can study the evolution of obstetrics in Greece and in the world, as well as the general scientific and social presentations in almost the last 50 years. At present/In the current era/Nowadays ELEFTHO is published only in electronic form and publishes exclusively scientific works from the field of Obstetrics - Gynecology and sciences, which are based on international standards of writing scientific works.

ELEFTHO was first issued in 1957 pursuant to Article 29 of the R.D. of 15 December 1955, which, among other things, stipulated that SEMMA had to take care of the <>.
Since 2022 the journal accepts both English and Greek articles and is published as an Open Access Journal.
